Everyone has something they want to do before the inevitable happens. As we hope the inevitable will come as late as it possibly can, the activities on our bucket list go unchecked. 

Most people hesitate to do something they always wanted to do. The main reason is that they can’t afford it or they can’t find the time and so on. However, you cannot live your life to the fullest unless you do something for yourself. 

Therefore, you must take a leap of faith, or you’ll end up regretting not doing something. So, live a little will you and give that bucket list another go. That said, here’s why you should check things off your bucket list as soon as possible.

Time is running out.

No, it’s not but the window of opportunity when you can actually do something doesn’t appear very often, so if you don’t take the chase now, you might never decide to actually do it. 

A good example is that lots of guys want to attend an NBA game, in person, of course. They will often browse the best US sportsbooks and perhaps place a few wagers but never actually go to the game. 

The main reason is that tickets are expensive, and they get sold out almost immediately. So, if going to the NBA Finals is on your bucket list, you should plan a guy’s road trip to wherever the finals will take place, on time and actually commit to it. 

In life, something always comes up that makes people hesitate when chasing their dreams. But time is not promised to anyone. See why you should check things off your bucket list as soon as possible:

Life is a box of chocolates. 

Most people spend their lives grinding through the system, never actually doing anything they like. So, when you’re old and retired, you no longer have the energy or the will to do the things you wanted to do when you were younger. 

Don’t wait to be burdened by regret when you’re old and wrinkly. As they say that life is full of surprises, you’ll never get a chance to find out just how much that is true if you don’t actually do something. 

If we take the aforementioned example, it’s one thing to watch NBA Playoffs at home and a completely different experience to watch a game in person. So, if a chance presents itself for you to actually do something you’ve always wanted, make sure you capitalize on it.

Carpe Diem

The thing that makes people so indecisive about doing something they like that may turn out to be something stupid in the end, is thinking about the future. Future is uncertain to say the least and dealing with consequences of your actions is a bridge you should cross once you actually get there. 

Therefore, seize the moment and don’t look back or forward, for that matter. There’s no time like the present so if you have an opportunity to scratch that thing off your bucket list, then by all means do it. 

Whether it turns out to be an awesome or terrible experience is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that you’ll never know unless you make that step. And if you don’t do it, you’ll spend the rest of your life wondering about “what if”.

Ernest Hemingway once wrote in his book, A Moveable Feast, “When the spring came, even the false spring, there were no problems except where to be happiest.” People often assume that this quote is about Heminway’s time in Paris, while others assume he is reflecting on the happy times at his home outside of Chicago in the Spring. But in either case, half of the quote is missing that perhaps reveals the truth: “The only thing that could spoil a day was people and if you could keep from making engagements, each day had no limits. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.”

Now if the idea of spending a long weekend in Chicago worries you due to the crowds, we get that! According to Lynn Osmond, the President & CEO of Choose Chicago, “The hotels were packed, the streets were full, the attractions were busy. And this fall we’re actually doing very well. • The Chicago Tribune Wall: Perhaps one of the coolest buildings in Chicago is that of the Chicago Tribune. Along the Magnificent Mile, this building humbly stands amid its taller brothers. But what makes it unique are the 150 fragments of famous world architecture embedded in the outside wall. They have stones, bricks, and just random pieces from places like St. Peter’s Basilica, Pompeii, the Hagia Sophia, & even the White House.
• Buckingham Fountain: Located in the center of Grant Park is one of the largest fountains in the world. Inspired by the Latona Fountain at the Palace of Versailles, the fountain performs water shows and evening colored-light shows. Fair warning though, the fountain is only turned on from May to mid-October.
• The Holy Name Cathedral: For those who don’t know, most of Chicago was destroyed in the 1871 Great Chicago fire and a great rebuilding occurred, hence the name the Second City. Perhaps one of the beautiful results was building of the Gothic Revival style Cathedral in 1875. Though seemingly flawless, it does bear a unique scar of bullet marks from the murder of North Side Gang member Hymie Weiss, who was killed in front of the church.

Despite the fact that you are enjoying the time of your life this summer, remember that your responsibilities at home will not cease simply because you are not in the country. Consequently, you should take care to verify that everything is in working order before leaving for the summer vacation. Grotta dello Smeraldo Cave

If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in the Amalfi Coast, then visiting The Emerald Cave is certainly one of them. My other cave is one of the few caves bathed in natural, green-toned light. The effect means that the color of the water looks turquoise green similar to what you might see in movies.

Accessible by an elevator, you’ll board a boat for a guided tour. 

Valle Delle Ferriere

There isn’t a time when a waterfall isn’t spectacular, but the Valle Delle Ferriere offers a truly incredible experience in the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The waterfall is surrounded by many cycling trails and some gorgeous hiking trails too. 

The scenery is stunning, and since the area is protected, you won’t pop into as many tourists as you would in some of the other areas.

Along the hiking trail, you’ll be offered some of the most beautiful views around, and it means you can soak up some of the towns surrounding the area from a whole new angle.

Experience the Amalfi Coast by Train

Catching a train might not be on everyone’s list of things to do there, but the Amalfi Coast has a train line known as Circumvesuviana Line. Once you are seated on this very vintage looking train, you will enjoy all of the scenery from many coastal regions. 

It runs from Naples to Sorrento, so plenty of different views are offered. The ticket prices are very reasonable, and it is the most efficient way to travel from Naples to Sorrento.

It’s worth remembering that the left-hand side is where you get the best views. Although either side will be a joy to experience.

This decade has gotten off to a rocky start so far, for reasons that we need not go into right now, because you already understand. Such a large societal shift like this can cause us all to lose our direction for a little while, allowing bad habits to build, and sometimes, leaving us with a sense of dismay.

That said, tomorrow always brings new hope, and new potential to be actualized. For this reason, making 2022 the year of resolutions kept and goals achieved could be a great way to revivify your spirit, and look forward to the future with confidence.

A great way to get there is to focus on an art, discipline or skill that helps us feel better and allows our daily life to be structured in a worthwhile way. We believe that fitness is a great prerequisite for all that and more. In this post, then, we’ll discuss how to make 2022 the year of your personal fitness, how to avoid falling into traps, and how to undo some of the indulgences of the festive period after the fact.

What Goals Do You Have?

Of course, if you’re going to build momentum, it’s important to know which direction you hope to go in. Setting some goals for the new year automatically gives you structure when it comes to fitness. Consider A Practice You’d Like To Follow

When you set your goals, you can then move on to think about the best method of achieving those. When you hope to get in shape, there are many methods, technique and practices to follow. 

For instance, it might be that you wish to improve your cardiovascular conditioning but have joint issues or would rather not inflame your knees. Swimming, then, might be the best option for you, as even aggressive swimming through the water won’t harm or cause thudding responses to the use of said joints in a natural movement. There’s almost no exercise more ergonomic than suspending yourself in water, after all.

For some, hiking is important as Covid restrictions temporarily hit the gym. Depending on your discipline, certain investments may need to be had. Specialist weightlifting shoes provide more of a solid platform to lift from, for instance, while chalk, an armband to hold a smartphone, or a swimming cap may be key for other disciplines.

Plan Your Routine

It’s important to know the difference between exercise and training. Exercise is generally known as a workout you repeat in order to get your activity for the day. Training is a focused approach that improves you incrementally, allowing you to improve at whatever is put in front of you.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to score serious bonus points, or you’re struggling for ideas your partner will love, get ideas from their bucket list. Most of us have had conversations about where we want to go or what we would do if we won the lottery. You might not be able to stretch to some of the experiences or destinations on the list.
