As much as I curse the snow, ice, and below-freezing temperatures of the northeast, they make me appreciate spring and fall so much more. Not much of a summer person though.

Thankfully we are having a gorgeous Indian summer here in New England with all the fall colors, but also 70-degree temps. I love to leave New England in February, as I hate the cold. I was just talking to my dad about spending a week in Mexico, a bit close to your recommendation of South America!

A warm holiday getaway sounds so wonderful right now, especially with winter sneaking up on us so fast! I feel like it dropped 40 degrees over night here – we are going to Africa soon and I can’t wait to feel the warmth of the sun again! xo -Kam

A very positive list full of optimism. However, May in Peru….according to my experience, this might be a bit late – and July in Spain….you certainly won’t be freezing 😀
Anyway, every time I feel down because the weather is not nice and I cannot leave, I’ll check this list 🙂

Very interesting summer roundup, Eric! I never thought of chasing summer around the world. That’s because I live in Southern California where we get 360 sunny days a year and an average temperature of 68º-70º F. It can’t get more “summer” than this, hahaha!
