I totally understand what you mean about hotels! I’d definitely pick an airbnb… especially if I had to live in one for the rest of my life! But maybe that’s cheating 😉 Obviously I’d pick some sort of swanky hotel then! Great post, thanks for sharing.

These are great questions – I’m not sure I would be able to answer all of them as well as you did! Love your hometown of New Orleans! I was there many years ago (though I missed Mardi Gras) and it’s still one of my favorite places. I’ve never considered walking the Camino but lately I’ve been thinking about it more and more. It must be quite exhilarating in so many ways!

Very interesting post but I disagree on one thing, I prefer hotels over hostels even though I spend too all the day exploring. After so much walking it is nice to return to a really comfortable bed.
