However, it is really about the triumph of spirit over matter. Nicole showed remarkable strength of spirit and positive attitude. I am really touched by the way she planned for her daughters as well as her own funeral. She was a remarkable woman. Actually she is, because people like her never die, they live in our hearts forever.

That’s scary. What a terrible cancer, and often diagnosed too late 🙁 My mother survived ovarian cancer– in fact, she kicked its ass– when she was in her late 40s, but she had no symptoms whatsoever. She went in for her yearly pap smear and exam and something was wrong, eventually leading to the diagnosis. I wish this were talked about more. I’m so sorry you lost such a dear friend to such a terrible disease. Light and Love!
