Not going to lie, we love chasing the Summer sun whenever possible but there is something to be said about the fall season too. I mean there is nothing better than getting out into the world for a beautiful scenic fall day out with the family. Plus, the world looks different in fall. Visit a local Pumpkin Patch

The first fun festive activity you can do during the fall is to visit a local pumpkin patch and pick a few pumpkins for your fall display. There are some amazing pumpkins and squashes you will be able to find at a pumpkin patch that you would never see in the supermarkets, and it will be a great excuse for you to get out into the fresh air and enjoy seeing where these amazing orange beauties come from. Get the kids involved and let everyone in the family choose their own pumpkin for carving, cooking, or painting for Halloween.

Go to a Farmers Market

Harvest season is rife at the end of summer and the early fall, so if you have always wanted to invest in some seasonal goodies now is the time. Find your local farm and go there on market day and you’ll be able to get your hands on some of the freshest and most amazing produce you ever did see. Take these home to use for an awesome family dinner recipe, make a fun fruit salad, or create a warming soup to enjoy. 

Head to the Beach

If you are looking for a great excuse for adventure, you can check your edmunds car value and buy a Chevy Silverado and take it for an off road trip to the beach. The beach is underrated during the fall, and you’ll be able to enjoy a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere as well as some stunning low sunshine. You can also pack the back of your truck with blankets and pillows, and watch the sunset with a glass of wine. 

Enjoy a Woodland Adventure

There is nothing quite like a woodland walk during fall. You’ll be able to see a magical atmosphere all around you with golden and red light everywhere you look. By heading out with the family for a woodland walk, you can enjoy some fresh air, exercise, and some wonderful scenery. 

Visit a Funfair

At the end of the summer, a funfair can be a wonderful way for you to unwind after a long week and enjoy some good old childhood fun. The fair will always be a winner with the kids as some are even Halloween themed celebrations! Plus, you can go on the rides, enjoy some fun and games, and even buy a toffee apple as a treat.

To enjoy a pumpkin themed fest, head out on the 26th October  for a fun day out. This includes a sale on the sidewalk, Halloween themed snacks and drinks, and pumpkin carving.
