I have cooked Boboli pizza any number of times backpacking. It's brilliant. The dough is already cooked so you can't mess it up and the sauce comes in a little plastic pouch. You don't need a can opener (or heavy can) and you have no waste. You can even get pepperoni and Baby Bell cheese that don't require any refrigeration. There are even backpacking ovens that are super light so you don't need to carry the skillet. If you're car camping though, a good skillet goes a long way.
