I’ve been to all of the places including bumping into a Bengal tiger in India and surviving! I agree with the sentimet about getting to them before industrialization or just plain life destroys their essence. That is what motivates me when I travel. Trying to see places before they are irrevocably changed by tourism or “progress”.

Costa Rica looks amazing and would love to explore the rainforest, beaches, volcanoes …. ! Mexico is special for us – we got engaged on the top of Coba! We’ve actually been talking recently to go back to Mexico, maybe for our anniversary. I hope I get the chance to visit Columbia and Costa Rica soon : )

I have only been to Mexico so far (and only to Cancun…25 years ago). It warms my heart to see Columbia emerging as a tourist destination after so many years of social and political upheaval there.
