Hmmm I’m not a fan of beer and there isn’t any vegetarian Cajun food. That being said, my Bf is from the islands so this could be a cool experience to have together!

Its great that Mamou is easy to get to! Its amazing that Fred’s has that instant vibe and somewhere I would defo love to spend a morning! I love how Tante Sue would walk around and hand out boudin. She seems like a very special woman.

I loved eating boudin on the Boudin Trail in Lake Charles, but I like how you paired boudin with beer. Next time I’m in Louisiana, I’m heading to Fred’s Lounge in Mamou for boudin and beer!
